Notice of Provisional Entry of Place in the Tasmanian Heritage Register

In accordance with the Act, the Tasmanian Heritage Council notifies it has provisionally entered the following place or places* in the Tasmanian Heritage Register:

THR 12155 Carlton Post Office, 640 Carlton River Road, Carlton River (updating the information held for entry THR 5324)

Under the Act, members of the public can provide a written submission relating to that intention. Further, any person has a right to object to the entry.

An objection may only be made on the basis that the place does not satisfy any of the registration criteria on which the intended entry is based. A submission, or objection, must be made in writing and sent to the Chair, Tasmanian Heritage Council by post to: GPO Box 618, Hobart 7001, or by email to: enquiries@heritage.tas.gov.au
within 60 days of the date of this notice.
