Provisional Registration of Five Places in the Tasmanian Heritage Register

​​​​​​​​NOTICE OF PROVISIONAL ENTRY OF A PLACE OR PLACES
IN THE TASMANIAN HERITAGE REGISTER

In accordance with section 18(3)(b) of the Historic Cultural Heritage Act 1995 (“the Act”) the Tasmanian Heritage Council gives notice that it has provisionally entered the following place or places in the Tasmanian Heritage Register:

THR 12043, West Devonport Infant School, 52 Steel Street, Devonport (updating information held for entry THR 8781)

THR 12045, Slaughterhouse, 58-76 Gray Road, St Marys (updating information held for entry THR 5906)

THR 12038, Hobart Town Hall, 50 Macquarie Street, Hobart (updating information held for entry THR 2466)

THR 12039, Tasmanian Public Library/ Carnegie Building, 50 Macquarie Street, Hobart (updating information held for entry THR 2156)

THR 12056, McCarty’s road, 264A Main Road, Derwent Park (updating information held for entry THR 10036)

Members of the public are hereby invited under section 20 of the Act to provide a written submission relating to that intention.

Further, under section 19 of the Act, any person has a right to object to the entry(s).

A submission, or objection, must be made in writing and lodged with the Tasmanian Heritage Council within 60 days of the date of this notice.

An objection will be sufficiently lodged if it is sent to the Chair, Tasmanian Heritage Council, by post to: GPO Box 618 Hobart 7001, or by email to: enquiries@heritage.tas.gov.au​.
