Under the Act, members of the public can provide a
written submission relating to that intention. Further,
any person has a right to object to the entries.
An objection may only be made on the basis that the
place does not satisfy any of the registration criteria
on which the intended entry is based. The registration
criteria can be found in the datasheet for the place,
which is available from the Heritage Tasmania website:
www.heritage.tas.gov.au.
A submission, or objection, must be made in writing
and sent to the Chair, Tasmanian Heritage Council by
post to: GPO Box 618 Hobart 7001, or by email to:
enquiries@heritage.tas.gov.au within 30 days of the
date of this notice.
