Expression of Interest

National Trust Tasmania Board

The National Trust Tasmania has an important role to play in advocating for good heritage outcomes and in presenting historic heritage places, in accordance with the provisions of the National Trust Act 2006.

The Hon Madeleine Ogilvie MP, Minister for Heritage, is seeking expressions of interest from interested and suitable individuals to fill a vacancy as one of three Ministerial appointees on the Board of the National Trust of Australia (Tasmania). This is a voluntary position, although the Trust is able to reimburse reasonable travel costs to attend meetings.

Candidates with expertise in;
the development and operation of a tourism business
marketing, fund raising and corporate sponsorship
and/or financial and risk management
are particularly encouraged to apply. 

This vacancy will be filled in accordance with the Government’s commitment to achieving gender equality on Boards, a desire to maximise regional representation and maintain a skills-based Board.

Individuals with an interest in filling this vacancy should provide a brief outline of their knowledge, skills and experience that demonstrates their suitability to fill this vacancy, along with their Curriculum Vitae, the names of two referees and contact details.
