National Trust of Australia (Tasmania) Board
Expression of Interest Process
The National Trust Tasmania has an important role to play in presenting historic heritage places, advocating for good heritage outcomes and delivering the Community Heritage Program, in accordance with the provisions of the National Trust Act 2006.
The Hon Elise Archer MP, Minister for Heritage, is seeking expressions of interest from interested and suitable individuals to fill a vacancy as one of three Ministerial appointees on the Board of the National Trust of Australia (Tasmania). This is a voluntary position, although the Trust is able to reimburse reasonable travel costs to attend meetings.
Female candidates from the North and North West of Tasmania, with expertise in marketing, fund raising and corporate sponsorship, are particularly encouraged to apply. This is in accordance with the Government's commitment to achieving gender equality on Boards, and a desire to maximise regional representation and maintain a skills-based Board.
Individuals with an interest in filling this vacancy should provide a brief outline of their knowledge, skills and experience that demonstrates their suitability to fill this vacancy, along with their Curriculum Vitae and the names and contact details of two referees.
