Built Heritage Course One Step Closer
Tasmania's Heritage Education and Skills Centre in Oatlands has been an innovator in the heritage space for many years.
In response to a shortage of knowledge and skills in built heritage, the Centre set out to develop a nationally recognised course for the management of built heritage projects.
With funding assistance from the Tasmanian Building and Construction Industry Training Board and input from a group of Tasmanian heritage specialists, the course has been accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority, effective 21 September 2020.
With accreditation in place, the next steps are to partner with a registered training organisation, and finalise content and materials for delivery of the course. To keep up to date and to register interest in the course, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
