Open House Hobart Program Out Now

Have you ever wandered past a building in Hobart that has particular appeal and wanted to take a peek inside?

Open House Hobart is returning for its fourth wonderful year on 5-6 November 2016, opening access to some of Hobart’s great hidden (and not so hidden) gems.

The program has been released and includes sites in Hobart City, West Hobart, North Hobart and New Town, as well as Sandy Bay, Kingston and Taroona.

Check out some great heritage places, like the Hobart GPO, Real Tennis, CCAMLR, Princess Park Magazine, Henry Jones Arts Hotel and the Hill St Reservoir.

Also on offer is the chance to visit some modern gems ranging from the Wrest Point complex, Vodafone centre, Hobart LINC, Tasports Tower, Pius X Church and the Dorney House at Fort Nelson.

There’s something for everyone. Some sites are only accessible via pre-booked tickets, while others are open at set times over the weekend, so you can just turn up.

And, it’s all free. For further information and to book, go to www.openhousehobart.org or check it out on Facebook.  What a great way to spend a Spring weekend.
